“You come across a dissatisfied guest in the hotel restaurant. What do you do? “

If I encounter a dissatisfied guest in the restaurant, I’d immediately step in to resolve it with care and professionalism. First, I’d approach the guest with a respectful demeanor, listen closely to their concerns, and apologize sincerely. It's crucial to acknowledge their experience and show I’m invested in their satisfaction.

Next, I’d offer a solution, such as preparing a new dish or suggesting an alternative that might better suit their tastes. I’d ensure the replacement is prepared with extra attention and, when appropriate, include a small complimentary item, like a dessert or drink, to show goodwill.

Finally, I’d follow up to make sure they’re satisfied and use their feedback to improve our service or menu. My goal is to turn their experience around so they leave feeling valued and cared for, reinforcing our commitment to excellent dining.
