description

As a Front of House Agent at Moxy, you are responsible for helping guests and creating positive experiences for them during their stay. During a shift, you have multiple roles - from Front Desk Attendant to Bartender and Chef - and you perform a number of different tasks.

If you work at the front desk, you help guests check in and out at the reception. You also promote and support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program to guests, and manage the hotel room inventories, bills and payments according to the regulations. Furthermore, you perform tasks at the bar or the Back of House. For example, you prepare various meals and beverages for the guests and serve them in a hospitable way. In addition, you clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organize Back Of House areas: parts of, for example, the restaurant that guests will not interact with or see during their dining experience.

To work safely, you always follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies, as well as the instructions and checks that you must follow and perform for certain activities. Likewise, you always provide customer service and hospitality. By doing this, you ensure that the hotel is well maintained and a welcoming place for guests.

information

During the shift, you usually work with one to two other Front of House Agents and your supervisor, the Front Office Supervisor/Shiftleader.

For this position it is mandatory to have an eligible visa to work full-time in Germany: we do not sponsor visas for this role.

“You are trying to enroll a guest in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. How do you proceed?

First, you ask the guest whether they travel regularly, for example for business. If this is the case, you explain to the guest that it is beneficial for him or her to enroll into the loyalty program. For example, they can get a discount on a stay, they can check in and out online with their phone and they always have free WiFi in the hotel room. It is important that you regularly ask guests if they want to participate in the loyalty program. After all, it is an attractive and hospitable service for the guests, which may also make them want to stay in one of the Co 51 hotels more often.

Growth

At Hotel Co 51, you get the opportunity to follow in-house training programs. There are also promotion and career opportunities in the hotel and within the hotel group, as well as cross-national experience opportunities through transfers.
