You start your shift by welcoming the remaining guests, answering emails and guest inquiries and running all the necessary reports to make sure everything is set for the night audit. Furthermore, you help people in the bar until it closes, after which you clean and prepare the bar and lobby for the next day. During the night audit you conduct a security check at the hotel, during which you check if everything is in place and order.

In the early morning, you prepare the incoming reservations for the day. You print out all the necessary lists for housekeeping and breakfast, preparing and sending the end of the day report to the Assistant Hotel Manager. After this, you prepare and serve the breakfast buffet and assist guests with checkouts. At the end of your shift, you hand over the work to the morning crew, informing them of any outstanding questions or remaining problems.
